More About Us
Hi! I’m Maria Oliveira…
I am the co-owner of Passport Vintage, an Etsy shop and brick and mortar store in Austin, Texas.
My lifelong dream has always been to own my own business. Etsy allowed me to start pursuing my dream and test out my ideas without having to immediately give up the security of my full time job.
In 2014 I started selling on Etsy part time as a hobby, a few months into that and I was making enough money to quit my full time job in retail management. After two years of selling on Etsy full time the opportunity to open a storefront in Austin, Texas present it itself. That’s when my boyfriend Ryan and I joined forces and worked together to open our storefront this past summer. Etsy is still a large part of my business, having a well stocked online store has brought traffic from locals and tourists who want to check out our pieces in person.
This course was designed to provide you with all the tools to get you started on your very own entrepreneurial journey, I wish you all the best!
Hi! I’m Sarah Peterson…
I am the author behind the blog Unsettle.org, and the host of The Unsettle Podcast. I’m also a digital marketer for SumoMe, and a content marketing specialist.
I’ve been an entrepreneur for my entire adult life in some form or another, and now I teach others how to do what the love by building businesses that will allow them to live the lifestyle of their dreams.
I’m a marketing expert and spend my days digging into every marketing topic I possibly can.
I started selling on Etsy in 2014 by listing a DIY popcorn bag I’d made for my own wedding. Within just a couple of months, that $0.30 listing had more than paid for my honeymoon – even though I only ran my shop for half of that time.
My Etsy business is now a passion project that I run on the side, though I’ve temporarily closed it due to travel and other demands.
